🌙 A hotel on the moon is opening in 2032
A startup called GRU has announced plans to open a lunar hotel by 2032, built using bricks made from moon soil, with construction slated to begin in 2029. Guests will have access to surface experiences including moonwalks, driving, golfing, and others. Prospective guests can apply now, with deposits ranging from $250,000 to $1 million. Future stays are expected to cost over $10 million.

🐻 Lil Uzi Vert’s new record label signs Bear1Boss as its first artist
Bear1Boss is the first artist signed to Lil Uzi Vert’s newly launched label, COR(E). Long respected in Atlanta’s underground and known for his viral 2024 appearance alongside Playboi Carti inside an Atlanta jail, the signing feels like a logical step ahead of Bear1Boss’s next project, Resort, dropping February 2.
🤖 Guy makes $10m using bots to stream his AI bands
Federal prosecutors have charged a North Carolina man for generating hundreds of thousands of AI-made songs, uploading them as fake artists, and using bots to stream them billions of times. The scheme allegedly netted over $10 million in royalties and resulted in charges including wire fraud and money laundering.

The Phone Book by Martin Parr
Between 1998 and 2001, British photographer Martin Parr photographed people using mobile phones in public, focusing on their hands and facial expressions across the globe.
Published in 2002, the series documents a moment before phone use became normalized and etiquette was unclear.
