There was a major wave of cybersecurity breaches this week

It was a terrible week for cybersecurity worldwide. AI-assisted researchers revealed a hidden weakness in the basic code that runs most websites, one that had gone unnoticed for over a decade, and which represents one of the most serious security flaws in history. Hackers immediately began to exploit it, stealing millions of records, and causing the NSA to issue an advisory to organizations to take their websites offline until they could update them. Several other vulnerabilities were discovered on the same day, prompting discussion about the fragile state of online security in the AI age.

Kid Cudi to Play Basquiat in 'JEAN,' Film He'll Also Write and Direct

He calls it “a love letter to Jean, the 80s and NY city.” Cudi has acted in Need for Speed, Entourage, and Don’t Look Up, and JEAN will be his third film as a director. Online, many have voiced reservations about Cudi’s ability to execute such a bold triple role.

Airbnb hosts are now banned from requiring guests to do chores before checkout

Airbnb has rolled out new rules for hosts, which bans them from asking guests to complete cleaning tasks such as washing dishes and stripping beds. This new policy follows years of complaints from guests who are charged cleaning fees but still expected to complete chores before checkout. Some hosts are crashing out virally.
