A robotics company made its old robots commit suicide by jumping into molten steel
Robotics company Figure has retired a fleet of old humanoid robots in the most Terminator 2 way possible: by training the robots to jump autonomously into a vat of molten steel. Figure states that keeping the older robots running no longer made sense and dismantling each one would eat into time needed to develop its next-generation robots.
