US Marshals are auctioning off iced-out chains seized from criminals
The US Marshals Service is currently auctioning off a collection of jewelry seized through federal criminal investigations and later absorbed into the government’s Asset Forfeiture Program. Several of the pieces reportedly belonged to Peewee Longway, though the most bizarre items are two ownerless mystery chains: an iced-out M&M pendant decked in Chanel and a fully gold-studded Mr. Peanut chain.

Slawn did the cover art for the new Michael Jackson compilation album
Olaolu Slawn has painted the alternative vinyl cover for the new Michael Jackson album and soundtrack, marking the artist’s first-ever oil painting. Described by Slawn as a heavily textured departure from his usual spray-paint approach, the work was developed after an extensive period studying Jackson’s own artwork, and references the iconography he used to construct his public image across decades of visual output. Slawn called it “the most important work” he expects to make for some time. The completed painting was first exhibited at Saatchi Yates this spring ahead of its commercial release.
A24 released the trailer for its Anthony Bourdain film
A24 released the first trailer for Tony, an upcoming Anthony Bourdain film focusing not on his entire life, but on a single formative summer during the mid-1970s. Rather than pursuing a conventional cradle-to-grave biopic structure, the film focuses on capturing the psychological formation of Bourdain before fame. Dominic Sessa stars in the lead role under director Matt Johnson, known for Nirvanna the Band the Show.
