Offset was shot, accuses Lil Tjay
While Lil Tjay was arrested on April 6, the same day Offset was shot, Tjay denies any involvement and was charged only with disorderly conduct and driving without a valid license. Reports claim Offset owes Tjay $10,000, allegedly loaned to cover Offset’s gambling addiction, which has fueled heated social media exchanges over the past year. Tjay also told DJ Akademiks that Offset once told him to get the money he was owed “back in blood.” Akademiks also shared screenshots in which Offset was down nearly $1 million on that trip alone. It is also being reported that one of Tjay’s associates might be the person who shot Offset, though this has not been officially confirmed.
Playboi Carti’s iCloud got leaked
Massive amounts of Playboi Carti’s iCloud data was leaked online, featuring over 1,000 files of personal content. Interesting content includes designs of action figures in collaboration with Art Dealer, unheard snippets, memes and potential album covers, WLR V1 tracklist, and random selfies.
Two ultra-rare Keith Haring art cars will be unveiled to the public Friday
Opening this Friday, two of Keith Haring’s rarest 3D works arrive at Free Parking, a new NYC gallery in a 19th-century carriage house. The pieces, a 1963 Buick Special and a 1971 Land Rover Defender III, are two of just four cars Haring ever painted. The exhibition also marks the release of Keith Haring in 3D, a major new publication from Monacelli, and coincides with The Brant Foundation’s nearby show on Haring’s early years, just a short walk away. Catch the exhibit between April 10th to April 19th.
M.I.A launched a line of 10G-blocking clothing
Alongside announcing her seventh album, the gospel project M.I.7, the singer has also unveiled a new line of “10G-blocking” clothing from her brand Ohmni, positioned as an upgrade to the 5G-blocking garments she released in 2024 after appearing on Alex Jones’s Infowars. There are no major studies suggesting that 5G causes negative health effects, and “10G” does not meaningfully exist yet. While the term implies speeds beyond 5G, current 5G networks already encompass capabilities reaching up to 20 Gbit/s.
See 2026’s Coachella billboards
In anticipation of Coachella’s first weekend, this year’s billboards are up, spotlighting artists like Geese, Addison Rae, Ethel Cain, Okulu, Justin Bieber, and FKA Twigs. Coachella’s billboard campaigns have increasingly become one of the festival’s most compelling marketing plays, with distinct aesthetics tailored to each artist, from Oklou’s emoticon billboard to Addison Rae’s dollar bill-inspired visual.
A$AP Rocky drops $300k mobile studio
Extending his collection with his design brand Hommemade, Rocky has released his long teased mobile recording studio for $300k. The cabinet/recording studio hybrid borrows from spaceship aesthetics and features Pro Tools & Ableton, VHS, CD, and 8-track players, Exposed analog tape reels, and A built-in Macintosh & TV. While visually striking, many are questioning who the intended buyer is, with the piece feeling more like a collector’s item or functional artwork than anything else.
