Actual Thoughts on Paris Fashion Week
From an undercover critic
Welcome sent an undercover asset into the PFW trenches. These are a few of their unfiltered thoughts, delivered under the condition of anonymity.

ERD
ERD dumped faux snow on models (including Marilyn Manson, who opened the show). ERD can actually put on a show, which brands 10x their size can barely arrange. I’m willing to overlook edgelord behavior if it means we can finally have a good fucking time at a runway show.
Jean Paul Gaultier
Duran Lantink’s sophmore Jean Paul Gaultier collection played it too safe. But it had its moments. In Paris, it’s actually pretty normal to see beautiful women smoking.
Undercover - It brings me no pleasure to report that Undercover has seen better days. Was “I ♥ NY” taken? Let’s be serious.
Ann Demeulemeester - Sometimes, dark academia is just the polite way of saying “emo Hogwarts.” Ann Demeulemeester has been very “When you lowkey just wanna be somewhere...”
Issey Miyake - Issey Miyake is polite, respectful, but kind of a snooze. But we respect our elders, and there’s no shame in sticking to what you’re good at.
Courrèges - Courreges is the person you know that everyone says “is really nice” to avoid saying “they’re kind of boring.” Nothing offensive, but nothing exciting.
